Siemens has added the extended 63kA rating to SIMOVAC-AR™, the industry’s first medium-voltage controller fully rated for 63 kA applications. The system features technology that provides greater safety and protection for personnel against arc-flash events, the rapid release of energy that can occur in electrical systems and potentially harm personnel. The technology has been designed to be compact, allowing for significant space reduction in a power equipment center or electrical room.
